My exhibition explores the vineyards of Rheinhessen beyond color: in monochrome compositions abstracted by movement, the quiet drama of nature becomes visible - sometimes melancholic, sometimes expressive, always in dialogue with the viewer.

My name is Marion Rockstroh-Kruft. In my photography I explore the complexity of perception. My pictures thematise the subjectivity and transience of the moment as well as the tension between personal experience and objective reality. In a constantly changing world, I dedicate myself to the ‘Tension field of perception between transformation and uncertainty’. Through techniques such as the Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) I capture the fluid nature of reality and invite you to discover your own emotions and interpretations in my work.
My work is characterized by a deep connection to intuition - it acts like a bridge between you, the viewer, and the picture. The reduction of this exhibition to black and white reveals a clarity that often remains hidden in the play of colors. This monochrome approach creates space for personal interpretations and experiences that go beyond the purely visible.
I would like to show you the vineyards of Rheinhessen from unusual perspectives and encourage you to appreciate the diversity of perception beyond color. My black and white photography opens up a new perspective on the familiar - as if you were really seeing the rolling hills, the rows of vines and the characteristic structures for the first time.
