History of origin:
Inspired by a walk in October, when the light bathed the vineyards in golden hues, ‘Splash’ was created out of a fascination for this apparent contradiction: nature is preparing to rest, yet its colours are virtually exploding. The movement of the camera (ICM) reinforces this impression - as if the shoots were shooting upwards like drops of water, frozen in a moment of pure vitality.

With the technology of the Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) the familiar landscape is transformed into a pulsating play of colours. The targeted movement of the camera dissolves contours and creates a painterly abstraction that visualises the vines' striving for light as an energetic gesture. The composition balances between chaos and harmony - a visual echo of the constant change in nature and perception.
